sorry perhaps a little more info would be helpful. When the motor is assembled and running, if i try to connect the ground from the outlet to the motor frame, it trips the GFCI. I know my outlet is good, and i know the wire is good. If i plug just the hot black wire to the motor, and check voltage, the casing has juice. I've gotten shocked touching the casing, just a minor one. If i remove the back housing, and then reconnect the hot wire, I no longer have power to the frame. So i'm guessing my problem involves the back of the housing. I cannot find any loose wires that may be touching the frame. Not sure what i should be measuring regarding resistance, or if i even have the motor wired properly, i can't find a wiring diagram online anywhere. Any help would be appreciated!
