I have this old Dayton motor I had on a old compressor.
It's great motor and turns at 1725 RPM. My question is I want to change out my 3495 rpm motor I have on my drill press with this Dayton.

Only issue I see with doing this is this old motor has these.
This motor was mounted horizontally now I want to mount it vertically. Would this be a issue with lubrication? And what is the correct lube to put in these? The old timer I got this from years ago told me he used wheel bearing grease.
