Yes it can be done and probably not too difficult. But is it worth it? Jacking and loading on a trailer is the easy part. Getting the trailer in there and the loaded trailer where you want the shed might be more difficult, depending on surrounding structures.

I've seen guys back a flat bed truck into the garage , lift the building with house jacks on the truck bed then support the building with scaffolding and drive the garage to the new site. You could even stack pallets up to support it.

How far are you planning to move it? It is possible to move it in tact. like others have said using some kind of bracing underneath etc...

If you are going very far you should look into getting it permitted by that I mean oversize load permits anything over 8'6" wide and anything over 13'6" tall is considered oversized.

A local tow truck company may have the needed equipment and permits to move it safely.

They make pre-fab sheds that are 12x24... they come in on a trailer. ANY shed company will be able to move that.

Plan B is to take it apart board-by-board, replace what's rotten, and rebuild on your property.

That's a LOT of work, and will take some time, but it's certainly not beyond the means of most people. If you want the building, free comes with a price.

When I built my garage, I had a company haul away the old single car garage that was in the way. They jacked it up, bolted in some 2x12s crossways to the side walls at about four feet above grade, backed in a truck, and then set the garage down on the truck bed and drove away. It was pretty quick and simple.

i would take it apart. i mean, it will save you loads of materials. youll need to reroof it tho as stated. also if its old, it might be oak or some other dark wood, now they are made of soft pine.

before i built my last garage i had to remove the old one that was there, similar to the size of the one your considering, i put an ad on kijiji and sold it for $1 with the condition that they move it, a bunch of guys showed up, dismantled it and loaded it on a flatbed. done!:3gears:

I like your take it apart to save the good stuff and burn the trash idea.

It will give you a lot more flexibility at the new building and avoid any possibility of needing permits for oversized load and wire lifting.
