A week or so ago I was going to give my old grill to a coworker that just bought his first house and needed more than a camping type grill. I cleaned it up best I could and it stayed under cover for a couple months but when I opened it I was not prepared for the spiders and sprickets that went running everywhere. Plus even though I had cleaned it there was a bit of moldy fuzz on some of the grates so I ditched the idea of donating it away. It's one of those half gas, half propane set ups.
So I was about to take my plasma cutter to it and take it to the dump when I thought......This would be a perfect cutting welding table. It won't be as heavy duty as a legit table but at about 5' long and on wheels it'd be great for catching all the sparks once you close off all the holes. My plan is to join the 2 halves together and cut out the inside ends. I'll have to redo the lids so they'll open a full 180 degrees. 4 heavy duty casters on the corners. I think there's enough space on the bottom shelf to store my 210MVP and the plasma cutter. I am going to have to fab up some sort of bottle holder for 2 tanks.
Anybody ever seen or done anything like this. It's kinda hillbilly-ish but I think it might work out pretty good
