Anyone use them for storage in the shop/garage? I Got a 2/4 set of small cubby lockers...all-steel and they dont have any hardware for the lock or opening mechanism. Id like to replace all of the open spots with a proper mechanism so i could put padlocks on each and then build up a angle iron "stand" to put them on. Right now they are on the floor and that doesn't work. Things get piled in front of them and then i cant access them easy..
With an angle iron base (on wheels) id be able to get them up off the ground and more accessible. Underneath i coulld build a shelf to putll all my jackstands and junk. That would be idea. The wheels would allow me to move it around as needed.
I need to find a place or source for old locker hardware. I have to imagine it is all standard stuff. Just enough hardware to put a lock on each locker is all i would need......or somthing with a proper latch to keep the lockers from opening up as i roll the unit around.
