Hello All,
I've been browsing around this site today and figured I'd make an account and ask a few questions. I've found a lot of great information here but, One big question I have is...are these sockets and wrenches worth anything. They came from my Gramps and Great Gramps.
He ran a farm implement mechanic shop in a small town and sold off most items in the 90's. I took a few things and have been lugging them around for the better part of 15 years.
I have my own tool sets and the sentimental value just doesn't do it for me, as I have a lot of other tangible items that mean much more.
These are random no complete sets. Here is a brief on the lot
Craftsman VV,V,BE
Snap ON Govt., 4, 1948 hour glass
Thorsen MFG in USA
SK, SK Wright, Wright
LectroLite
Weird Spade Stamps
Proto MFG in Los Angeles, USA
etc....
I know that everything has a value, reasonable to what someone would pay....but am I looking at a bunch of scrap?
Thank you to anyone that responds. And I will be glad to dig through them if anyone has questions with helping me out or even interested in what's here.
This is much appreciated.
