Old tool box, how do I get these drawers out?

No idea who made this box, looks like it used to have a badge on the fold-down door.

On my '70s era Snap-on box I released the drawer slides with a cut down hacksaw blade. That doesn't seem to work on this box, or I'm not doing it right (quite possible).

Anyone got any tips?

Thanks.

The Snap on style had a retainer clip on end of slide that would catch on a detent on drawer. The hacksaw blade (or shim that came with box) would slide between clip and detent to prevent it from catching. Don't see the clip on ends of slide on your box.

Dang, I needed a couple of those clips for an old Craftsman box. I ended up making them.

You don't need the hacksaw for these clips, just pull the back end out with a fingernail.

The hacksaw is for those that have a hidden clip, like this Huot, snap on, old Kennedy, etc

Since theres nothing on the front there should be an indentation on the back of the track or drawer to pry to release them.

Great link, thanks. Appears I have an old Huot box, it looks exactly like one of the photos in that thread.

Got the drawers out after much prying, poking, cursing with assorted screwdrivers, hacksaw blade and small picks.
