Hello all!
New guy here. I found this forum while looking up information on a jack that I rescued from the scrap bin. I work for a diesel service center as a parts manager and we recently moved buildings and my mechanic had mentioned that there was a jack laying around that they never used because it didn't work.
Fast forward a few weeks and were taking out the scrap and there's the jack. It's a big girl and not very light so I was very hesitant to take it at first until one of my co-workers talked me into it.
Anyway I did a little research and stumbled upon this site.
Hopefully you can give me some answers to a few things.
About how old is this? I can't see any numbers the paint is super thick, so I think it would cover any engravings or stampings.
Can you give me a rough idea of what this can lift (how many tons?)
I filled her up with hydraulic oil (took quite a lot!!) and now she works!
I attached a few pictures (pardon the quality I am a parts manager not a photographer) and if anyone needs any more specific pics please let me know and I will gladly take them.
Thanks again!
