Original use for wrench

I have seen 3 of these lately in antique stores. Curious if anyone know what the original equipment it was for? I assume it came with a tractor, vehicle, or ag attachment.

I sandblasted and clearcoated this one.
Open end is 1-7/16" and box end is a oversize 2-1/8" (2.165")

Box end might be for a drain plug or filter?

This is the only one i have seen with writing.

This shows "hub wrench". Still trying to figure out for what vehicle or equipment.

They are for old car hubcaps. No help on what went to what.

They are for the early cars with the hex covers on the the wheel. Common to many cars of the era.

Fairmount was a prolific maker of nondescript tools for specific applications. That -probably- was an aftermarket replacement for a lost original or the one the local greasemonkey bought and kept in his kit.

He would use Ford or any other make kit tools as they were easy to get and it wouldn't matter the car in the shop.
If it fit, it was good. Most of these guys had few tools to do it all.

I believe they were supplied in the tool roll for Studebaker cars.

Other tool makers have been used.
