I'm leaning toward using this OSB:
http://www.lowes.com/pd_12218-99899...6&Ntt=osb&pl=1¤tURL=?Ntt=osb&facetInfo=
vs this one for the walls of my new pole barn
http://www.homedepot.com/p/Unbrande...ted-Strand-Board-Square-Edge-339696/100088796
The OSB from Lowes is an underlayment OSB with tongue and groove.
The OSB from Home Depot is a non tongue and groove sheathing product.
I assume the OSB would look the same for both products, but the T&G from Lowes would be more stable because of the T&G ?
Would an underlayment OSB be as "smooth" as a sheathing OSB ? My plans are to polyurethane the OSB. Assuming the OSB are essentially the same, it seems the Lowes is the better product: thicker, has T&G ?
Opinion please !!!
