A buddy asked if I wanted to come slay some trees on a fenceline on a property line. Well yes, yes I do.
A lot of them were leaning quite badly so I did the face cut, bored in and worked back until it cut through. That keeps the tree from tipping too soon and barber chairing.
We got a ways to the South cleaned up nicely.
As well as to the East a ways. Sam is in the skiddy cleaning stuff up. He has a bucket and some pallet forks and did very very well cleaning and moving stuff around. I told him he needed a grapple and he said “they’re spendy but maybe one day”. So now I’m on the hunt for a grapple for him.
I used my little MS200 for as much as I could. I really like running that saw. Lightweight and it packs a heck of a punch.
Mud season is upon us
The machine wheels get all full of mud and it dries overnight and makes a dang mess.
Really doesn’t look that bad …….
That pile of mud is 4” thick. Good grief
30 calves at 498lbs average. Anyone want to venture a guess what this pen full of steak bites set me back
