Seed deliveries in the man-van work well when it's raining and snowing and all crappy. That spendy seed stays nice and dry !!
Got the ol' Sthil saw tuned up and running again. Lots of wood to cut up to feed that monster of a furnace I purchased !!
Take a break and bring Mama Bear to a hockey game
It truly is crazy what you can do with internet access and adult money .....
Well look at that !! A "Lego" Big Bud 16v-747 complete with Randy and Robert
Fits right in with the rest of them
We received 3" of rain in 20 minutes .... twice within 3hrs and it raised all holy hell in the fields we had already planted. What a MESS !!!!
A half mile North of us a buddy faired worse than we did with a bunch of rather large hail and winds that knocked over tons of trees.
This is our middle child. She is either wide open or at a touch above idle. Not much in between !! She had a loose tooth and I told here we should pull it out with a pliers and she said "OKAY !!" ..... well .... she's not one I want to mess with when she gets older I do believe !!!
Load #1 of 15 home so far. I think there will be at least that many again if not more. We had a ditch cleaned out and there were a TON of trees in it !! It was around 1/4 long so there is plenty to do !!
I borrowed a brush grabble from a neighbor and wowser .... this thing is amazing !!!
And so the pile is born
Time to haul some POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP !!!!!!
Odd place for a swimming pool
Wait a minute .... the concrete is upside down for a swimming pool ....
Hey look !! An 8,100bu grain bin !! That makes more sense than putting a swimming pool by the steer barn
Look what wandered into my life to make this bin project happen
More rock picking !! This is insane
Mama Bear and I got invited to a Twins Game and got to hang out in the Budweiser Sports Deck at the new Twins Stadium. It was a rather fun time
I combined all the leftovers in the fridge in a fry pan, threw in a couple eggs and some cheese and boom ... breakfast. Not sure why this is GJ worthy but there is it
When this is finished Mama Bear will be happy !! She's been parking outside for a few weeks while I work on this in my "spare time"
I took some time out to go to an auction a few weeks back. I always feel like I buy too much stuff but this time I know I should have purchased more. TONS of tools and tooling that went cheap but one only has so much $$$$$$$$$$$. I filled the back of a pickup and had to go back with a trailer so I did okay I guess .....
Should have enough abrasives for a while
There are a dozen 14" grinder wheels. 1-4' in width. Guess I need to build a monster grinder now. I'm thinking 5hp 3PH chain drive built off an old truck rear end ....
It was kiddo night at the local baseball yard so we went as a family and had pizza, popcorn and sunburn. The kiddos all got a baseball and the entire St. Cloud Rox team signed it. They were only "a little" excited
Time to level shavings out in the chicken barn. Chicks come in a week so it's time to start prepping the barn for their arrival.
I showed the concrete earlier but never the finished shed we built to store the chicken POOOOOOOOOOOOOP !! So here it is.
The last few weeks I've been working on hauling all the corn straw bales into the shed so they stay out of the rain. They're soggy from all the rain this spring so I've been stacking them single with room around them to dry before putting them on the big stack.
I decided to make some small square bales to remind me not to do that again. What a PITA
I ordered this massive chest freezer in August '21 and it finally came in a few weeks ago. The freezer that was here went to the new house, the one in the new house is just a little one we had in our apartment when we were first married and it'll stay in the new garage as an overflow freezer when we need the space, the one in the old hayshed got emptied out and put into this new one. So we went from 1 dinosaur, 1 little bitty one and one in the shop to two large freezers.
Almost 100% meat in there
