About the Andersen doors and windows, Florida has some of the most-strict building materials regulations in the nation, because of hurricanes (HVHZ: high-velocity hurricane zone). Look at
Miami-Dade County Product Approval associated with doors or windows. It's a big selling-point, and is usually the most-expensive product in a manufacturer's line. You cannot legally replace an exterior door or window in the south Florida area without purchasing a product which has this rating.
The Product Control Section receives applications, processes, reviews, and issues approval or denial of building construction materials, products and systems used for the protection of the building envelope.

Take time to review all the links found under this, it's very interesting how the testing is done, product approval is awarded, and how the process makes sense in an area of fierce windstorms.
A tool for testing building products and techniques at my alma mater in Miami.
There are two companies which are under the same ownership, which manufacture HVHZ-rated products: PGT and CGI. The testing performed on building products to ensure they meet the building code requirements is rigorous. My wife is an engineer (E.E.) and we know the P.E. who was responsible for heading the testing and inspection of the manufacturing plants where HVHZ-rated products are made.
We re-modeled our CBS ranch-style home in the Miami metro area, and we chose CGI for the windows and doors. CGI was since bought by PGT and is now their premium line. Besides the premium energy-efficiency such products offer, we were pleasantly surprised how much-more-quiet the house was with these windows and doors.
We went with another manufacturer for the patio doors to the pool deck. The house had the original 1950's mill-finish three sliding glass doors, filling an eighteen-foot opening, the doors would stack to one side, providing a twelve-foot clear opening. We bought a premium product a
nanawall aluminum door assembly. The doors open three to either side, and stack, accordion-style. The two doors in the middle also open like a pair of french doors, swinging 180 degrees, so you can in about 15 seconds, have a six-foot opening, with the 'french doors' secured in-place opened. In another 45 seconds, you can open all the doors, to have an eighteen-foot-wide opening clear span. It's very-impressive being fully-open. We did the whole-house re-model in preparation for our retirements, the cost of the nanawall doors installed probably six years ago would cost about the same as a 2022 Ford Super Cab today.
Our interior and exterior folding glass doors offer wide, unobstructed openings that are unrestricted by the fixed glass panels of traditional sliding systems.
