I have a Lisle brand thread chaser, it does what it claims to do. Kroil is what I use for penetrating oil. It hasn't let me down. I've heard that 50/50 trans fluid and acetone is awesome. I've been meaning to try it, but the kroil always works.

+1 on the Lisle, antisieze before use though. PB blaster, Kroil, CRC freeze-off & power lube all work good.

I just got a tap for the ones I had to deal with. If your o2 sensor does not have a ground wire, be carefull of using antisieze.

I have good luck with both brands... if I have to choose I would get the Lisle one just because it is driven by a socket instead of a hex. ..

***NVM both can be driven by socket.... so choose either one is fine.

Personally I have a set of large metric tap/die that covers it and that thread repair tools.

+1 on this. I am a professional mechanic and have found many times that a thread chaser won't do the job, it would be good to have both.
