I recently acquired this 3/4" drive P&C 9209 ratchet. Has some owners marks, but otherwise in great condition.

It's been a while since I've found P&C, but got lucky last weekend at the local college flea. Got this and a Craftsman 15/16" combo for $5 after an initial asking price of $8. Seller thought the Cman was "the " find and practically put no value on the DBE.:D

I found this partial 1/4" set in my stash recently. It was a pleasant surprise - I had completely forgotten about it! Now to find the AWOL pieces.

Pretty cool... I have some P&C extensions and I think a breaker bar in my collection... Don't see it very often around here...

Scored this p&c top chest this weekend ! Many thanks to rileysan for finding it for me and providing the mule train ! It pays to know people [emoji1] I believe it to be late 40's or early 50's and has similar traits to my proto l.a. box ... I am thinking pressteel made this one as well based in the physical attributes!

It is filthy and needs some love ! I will be getting to it in my pressteel thread in case any one is wondering !

If any body knows which catalogue this box is in I would appreciate a heads up !

Nice score Smoke! I would be happier than a pig in slop to find either one of those boxes around here. But to find the matching pair from different sellers.... Seems some people have all the luck!

Well I think the top box is about 10 years newer than the toolmobile but they are both still super nice to have ! As you will notice the common thread on quite a few of my pressteel boxes is rileysan [emoji51] about half of all I have have had come from him! I have figured out his craftsman kryptonite and figured out how to exploit it !

Looks like the pulls were cupped in the '48 catalog. Here's an image of the #9990 box from the '48 catalog:

I picked these up at an estate sale I was at the other day, cleaned up pretty good too:

Set was complete, but had a little bit of chrome loss.
And dug these two up from my stash as I have been cleaning and organizing as I unpack:

1/4 and 3/8, not sure if they made any 1/2ers. Need to get a rebuild kit for the 1/4.

I see a few tools by P&C. Does anyone here have a wish list? Maybe trying to find a few sockets? Mostly sockets here.

I rediscovered this P&C 3/8 drive mini-speeder in my hoard. For mechanics with small hands? 3rd pic is comparison to normal size 3/8 speeders.

I picked up some P&C at an estate sale Wednesday. #2225, #2236 and N85 DBE wrenches, a #2740 combo with the open end removed, a 4041 Battery Terminal Puller, and a #1808 8" pipe wrench. (Photo #1, with a Plomb DBE that photobombed the P&C's at the bottom)

The pipe wrench is in excellent shape. I have not done any clean-up on it, and as you can see in the photos, it has no paint. I am used to seeing either red or blue paint on the handles. At first, I thought that it had been blasted and polished, but the more I look at it, the finish seems original.

Anyone have ideas on this?

Provincial, my grandfather worked for P&C (tool and die maker) in the forties and told me that a lot of guys that worked at P&C would get tools unfinished. Early employee benefit. Anyway always enjoy using and seeing P&C tools, well made and brings back memories of grand dad.

Interesting, but is it a J.P.Danielson made wrench? they have a date just above the business end of the cage, and also on the dynamic jaw.

Found a pretty nice P&C pipe wrench yesterday and a hammer today! Same vendor had the tack hammer a few weeks ago!

A couple speeders.

3/8” half speeder and 1/2” flex head (1930’s era)

I haven’t found a cataog reference to the 3/8. The handle doesn’t revolve, but there is a fixed ball bearing as if a revolving handle was locked over it and perhaps came apart. Anyone know?

Just glad all you P&C hounds were sleeping at the wheel when these came up for sale!
