I really got some good ideas from this site so I wanted to post some pictures of my own project. I still need to do the floor. Thinking about a lift and some floor ideas.

Looks good!...neat and organized...also like the beige walls...di you run plastic for the air compressor line?...be careful with that set-up...if it ever bursts..OUCH...

Looks good. Do you know what size the garage is (looks like 20x20 or close to it)? I'll be renovating my garage this summer, so I'm always looking for ideas for "normal" sized spaces.

Great looking garage, I love the way you organized it. I need to ask is that a electric heat unit on your ceiling. How does it do for you? Reason asking is I have a 220 unit with 5000 watt and it barely works with my 484 sq. ft garage. Keep up the good work 
Thanks everyone for the great comments. This site has some really great garages and ideas. My garage is 21wx21lx10h in size. I also have a shed (14wx16l) with an 8ft garage door for all the lawn stuff and overflow. If it was not for that shed I would be stuffed. The air lines are pex and should be ok but I will run some steel pipe this summer as per this site. As for the heater I need to run power to it so I really can't help with that type of question. The garage on the coldest days is around 50 with out heat. I did have that heater in a 40x20x8 garage at my last house and your right about how little it worked. The walls in that garage were brick. I should have the heater hooked up in a few weeks. One thing I do rember is the cost of running that little heater. Propane ventless might be the thing for me.

you have really done a great job with organization I just got some shed storage pictures( 16x14). This is why my garage looks good, not a lot of junk in it. Shed still needs some work but you get the idea. I should have got a larger one.

Nice setup.... i've spent the past month or so re-doing my wife's kitchen and this spring it's the garage's turn for a makeover. I primered the walls when we moved in, and now it's time to put a nice coat of paint on the walls and ceiling and to do something with the floor.
As you can see, I too have a 'deer' but I need some re-organization as well.
As you can see from my ceiling, I definitely need some more storage space for lawn equipment and my wife says I need a shed.... I'm figuring a 24x24 with 12 ft ceilings would work....lol

24x24 is very big, that would be great. You will have so much room for new toys. Thats the problem, filling it. Every 5 to 6 years I build a new house. This is my 3rd. The next one will be my last. 4 car garage with two lifts. My little shed is so stuffed right now. The JD takes a lot of room up (9ft long with weights and bagger). A few weeks ago I was in the same boat your in. Just fyi I had the JD all ready for winter (detailed) but guy next store will not clean his leaves up. So I have to go out every few weeks and **** them up. His new craftsman tractor (26hp, wow) had to be fixed 4 times this year. The last time he had a fire under the hood and deck (he won't talk about it). Nothing against craftsman but the right tool for the job comes to mind. Well just wanted to get that off my chest.
I feel better now. Good luck with you project.
Well, Guys a update is in order. As time goes on I am trying to hold my ground. Where does all the stuff come from? A few new things like a Snap On box and a fan. Have my heart set on a custom tile floor.
Also made some major adjustments in my shed. Let me know what you think.

Great looking garage and shed.
Your color scheme is what I have in most of my house (SW Believable Buff walls with SW Extra White ceilings and trim) and was thinking of using in the garage but with slightly lighter walls.
How much land are you on? I'd love to be out in the country a little with some land and a small tractor.

Well another update. Due to a basement project I have to move my small wood shop into the garage. This is hard to do and still keep the layout close to the first makeover. Plus like most of us I have to keep the cost low. Picked up a few more gear tracks and hooks. Still need to add more lights, outlets, and another workbench. I would like to get everything done in the next few weeks. Will post a few pictures in the next few days.

Can I make a suggestion for that corner?
My dad always kept a step stool / short short ladder around and easily accessible in the garage. This made it possible to mount our ladders up near the ceiling and out of the way. It seems to me that you could mount the ladder horizontal above the window and utilize that space for some shelving for the tanks and various bottles. The snow blower won't fit in the shed?
