I'm tired of lugging paint tins off the top shelf of my garage when SHMBO decides that we need to 'touch up' the interior paintwork because auntie Ethel (whoever) is coming to visit.
I got me some empty paint tins (from the Container Store), got all the full paint tins down off the top shelf, stirred them up and filled the new tins with a half pint of paint. I put a drop of each paint on the top of the new tins, marked them with the room location, added some throw away brushes, a bit of sandpaper, some stirring sticks, spackle and a tin opener, put the whole lot in an old paint tray.
I now have a paint station which can be used for household touch up, and who knows, maybe even the wife will be encouraged to do a bit of paint touch up.
