need a pump for my petroleum based solvent parts washer.
Not many places to buy a submersible type pump for use with petroleum solvents and very costly!
I was thinking of using a standard auto fuel pump mounted on the exterior of the unit with a hose from the tank to the pump and a discharge hose to the brush cleaner. Maybe even a replaceable auto fuel filter. Being 12volt really doesn't matter.
Anyone tried something like this? Or have any other thoughts on low cost pumping modifications?
