That's a really nice one! I have the blue/red HF piece. I think I paid $69 for it, back in the day. Filled it with 10 gallons of Purple Power when it was on sale at Autozone. Cuts even the thickest of grease!
I considered such a machine but my research suggested they dont handle lots of heavy grease and the only ones worth bothering with used 140 degree heated solution.
Well I didnt do the research before I bid on it, It uses an expensive solvent that basically recycles itslef. Maybe I can still use some purple power or other solvents in it. If not ill probably end up selling it. I only paid $176 for it, seems as they run upwards of $1500-$2000 new. Jay Leno uses one in his shop
A lot of guys use dish washer detergent. GeneralDisorder is right about aluminum, you need to watch what you use in them. I have this snappy unit and still use the SO juice that the po used in it. I was worried about having too much flammable products around as it is near my welding area so went with aqueous. I also didn't want the smell of solvent around although this unit has it's own odor when it heats up.
