The guy grading the yard got too close to the building and hit the corner of the brand new LP smartside.
They said they would cover the cost of the siding contractor fixing it but they siding contractor says they are booked up for 2 months and estimated $600. Thinking about putting some glue in the crack and nailing it back in position. Then using some filler to repair the end. It's been pretty dry here and could get it done before we have some rain here in a couple days.
At least it is on the back corner that is not that visible. And, yes, the foundation guy had old wooden forms that were coming apart. This corner is much worse than anywhere else.
Would this be suitable for filler?
