Re: Paul_VR6's Cramped Double "and" Big Single Shop Thread
Just checking in while I have some free time with the holidays and looking at those first pics it's not *much* better but at this phase of life taking baby steps with things seems appropriate. Kids are getting old and big quick and their mess seems to be spreading. I really need an out building (for myself or them!) but in the meantime I'll keep chipping.
I just bought a Louisville Everest attic ladder to gain access to the space above the garage. Luckily it's all stick framed so the retrofit shouldn't be too hard. Once I can easily get up there some insulation and adding some rough electrical for 10 T8 lights with LED retrofit kits will be added before I toss a floor up. Getting some of the
stuff up there instead of the basement and shed will help with things a bit.
Building a few motors for folks over the winter so even more down on space than normal. I am still browsing some pallet racking to go over the bench on the LH side where those flimsy shelves are, but nothing has come up close enough yet.
In any case, Happy Holidays to all (be it Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanza, Saturnalia, whatever...) and have a happily exciting New Year!
