Stopped in a local pawn shop today to look around for some handtools and talk about tool overload. Piles and piles of corded and cordless stuff and box after box of screwdrivers, sockets, ratchets, ect. I was only looking for sockets and that kind of stuff and they had the stuff priced as follows. American made sockets EXCEPT Snap-on, MAC and one other top shelf brand, less then one inch were a buck a piece. S/O and Mac were 2 bucks each. Ratchets were 7 bucks and 12 bucks for 3/8ths I believe and 10 and 15 for 1/2 inch. Wrenches were 2 bucks for American made and 3 bucks for S/O and Mac. He said that if I bought a lot of them that he would deal a bit better. Just seems a bit high for the American made stuff. I dunno, maybe I'm just cheap. lol
