This is a great idea and I'm going to check my extras for some items to give away. I think that if someone gets an item and feels like offering to pay the shipping, that will only help this idea grow.
I have always bragged about this site to my friends and once again a member has given me a reason to love the members here.

PM me your zip code. I'll check today to see how much it costs to ship. This thing is heavier than I remember, if it is under $20 I'll go ahead and ship it.

I have 4 benchdog cookies, used them once for routing they work fine, they just don't fit into my woodworking workflow very well. Let me know and I'll drop them in the mail:

I'll take you up on those and the 11-1 if you still have them.

I’ll take the 1/4 sockets and the hozan drivers... I work On Japanese dirt bikes and bicycles a lot and I’ve always just made do with my old craftsman clear handles, but, I have read on here that a JIS set would be a lot better, especially for carb bolts!

I also would like to pay it forward...

I am always learning new hobby trades, for me just sticking with one craft or hobby just isn’t enough, I get antsy and grow tired.. I need to learn something new all the time... idk, I’m weird... however, I always do it on the cheap as I’m young and broke! for quite a few years though I’ve built furniture, so I’ve got a lot of woodworking tools... motorcycles and cars are newer to me though, so aside from some craftsman stuff my dad left me and some Kobalt things, pawn shop finds, and a very few harbor freight tools I don’t have much in the way of mechanics tools to take on completely rebuilding a few dirt bikes for me and my son this winter... so, I’m all down to pay it forward

I’ve got a good deal of vintage woodworking tools I don’t use much anymore and are doubles, triples, or more of things... I’ll pull them out tonite and get a concrete list if I have time. But, things like auger bits for a brace, Stanley wood and metal squares, socket chisels, Irwin adjustable auger bits, and I’m sure there’s a ton more... I’ll dig out the boxes full of stuff but if anything woodworking related like that is something anyone needs lemme know and we can talk.

Me too. I've recently gotten interested in woodworking and have begun to get some tools together.

It’s so damn cold in my garage right now, but, I promise I will get a list up tonite or tomorrow morning. First I’ll check the basement boxes as it’s a lot warmer in there!

Also, is there anyone interested in 35mm Film Photography, like SLR’s and stuff from the 60s up to the 90s .... I’ve got a lot of that stuff too... lemme know.

still have a good user # 4 Stanley smoothing plane floating around here.
I'll cover Padded Flat-Rate shipping envelope.
To wherever the USPS allows.
I will make sure it's well protected.
Should say, will be a good user. Will need sharpened and tuned.

Ok here’s what I got....2F599393-B1DD-44AD-918B-4F8DE2CEC26E.jpg

C1E93CAF-C94E-48D0-9AAB-D8976382B767.jpg

2F65CE05-4558-42BF-A4D0-F49A1DBE3201.jpg

Photo 1 is 2 yankee push drills a 133 and a 33, an Irwin I assume, can’t read marking, adjustable auger, and a roller.
Photo 2 is 3 chisels, first 2 color handle is a Power Kraft, middle red handle is a Fuller, wood handle is a Handy Andy... kinda cool, all have nice steel especially the fuller. GONE to user D45... ENJOY... more to come soon!
Photo 3 is 2 plastic handle Johnson level Bevels, one is nicer with a stainless blade and heavy plastic handle one bevel is gone to Jdoe213ONE BEVEL still available
Photo 4 is what I assume is a Stanley Square, wood and metal, I will have more of these up later, but this one is actually quite nice under the paint, it’s got the brass inside edge on the wood, nice brass fasteners, just needs a sanding and it will serve someone well... I’ve just got too many and haven’t gotten to it... kinda like a wrapped present I guess :/

Lemme know, I’d prefer to send these out in only 1 or 2 packages, so if you want it all that’s fine too... easier for me! I’ll probably try a padded mailer, and extra pad the hell out of it just to keep shipping cost down!

This is only the tip of the ice berg for stuff like this... I have a lot more chisels, Measuring tools, marking gauges, squares, etc

I have to say, I'm happy to see this thread getting revived! If even for a short while. Kinda feels like the new year is starting off right, in a way!

I'll go first:

Up for grabs.

Starrett punches: Gone to Gore

Also up for grabs: Mag-Lite I think it's a 3 cell. Worked when I last put it away about 2 years ago but didn't want to buy batteries to test it lol.
Was stored without batteries.

Shipped FREE anywhere in the lower 48.
Prefer the light went to a different home.

I know its an old listing but would like the flashlight if its still around!

Since this thread has risen again I think I'm going to add a little something to the mix in line with my personal New Years resolution.

Will be posting an item or 2 late this evening (1/6/18)

People who collect vintage tools and antiques might be interested.

Those who like oddball hand planes might as well....

Stay tuned and keep the good will going!!
