A lot of items aren't being replenished. For example, I have not seen the Insider or the newer versions of it in-stock there for many months.
I'm looking for a t15 torx screwdriver,to replace one I lost, that's a pretty common item, I'd think?

I totally agree. Maybe shipments have stopped to Small Parts/Amazon for some reason?I'm looking for a t15 torx screwdriver,to replace one I lost, that's a pretty common item, I'd think?

You guys are following common Amazon cart tactics, right?
I've seen some PB Swiss tools go from dirt cheap to full price and then dirt cheap minus 10% or more.
I had items in the cart, returned the next day to find a few items back to "full" price, while another item simply went up 10 cents in price.
Hell, I've put items in my cart and immediately went to check out only to be notified "this item is no longer available." WTF? Someone had bought the last one right out from under me. Amazon did restock in just a couple days...
And I just made another order for just about every 215 series interchangeable bit PB Swiss makes along with the PB 8215 screwdriver set. Grand total was $102 for a handle and a complete set of blades. ***** I'm in Afghanistan and won't be able to check them out for a while.

Looks like it is a Torx set.Just ordered this.

Not bad for $15.
Its perfect for me because I prefer the multicrafts to the swissgrip anyway.
We shall see what I actually receive though. 6440C is 8-25 whereas the product description says 27-55.
Oh well either way I couldn't pass it up.![]()
Looks like it is a Torx set.
I had to buy a set. Less than $3 each per driver. Seemed to be a good buy, if at least for review purposes.

Maybe 27-55 because its a 6440C model. I'd get one set too if this is right.
6440 is 8-25

BTW the 407/20 is down to about half off.
You do realize that Amazon's list prices are often bogus, right? In this case the list price is way, way wrong.Eh... it's only 12% off so ~$2. The free shipping is nice, but hardly a *must buy right now* in my book. I only eyeballed the 50%+ off stuff (save for the series 215 handle).
Yep. Looks like the list price was entered wrong as well.Yeah I saw it too so I was deleting the post but you got in first. Looks like amazon's goof again.

Count on Tools has that set listed for $59!

Yah, but it is'nt that set pictured on amazon is it? From its written description and posters here I thought it was a torx set, right? I would love it if it was the Flat/Philips/Awl set pictured on Amazon. Still confused to what it is.![]()

pbtools.us has the wrong pic as well, but the description of tools by model # included in the set makes sense.Like Stuey says, never go by the pictures Amazon provides. Always cross-reference the part # with the pbtool.us website for accurate pictures and retail price.

AH! you guys make me sick
Currently, item can be shipped only within the U.S.![]()
@impulse: nice set. Were these all scored from the Amazon sale?

As someone else predicted the 215 series handle has quite a bit of slop in it (and man does it smell something awful). I've certainly got some Chinese made drivers with less slop. The blades, however, look like pieces of art with the serial numbers and max suggested torque printed on them.
yep, i spent $75 total. Made one order then decided i had to have more a day later(love amazon's free shipping over $25)
wish the sale would have some stuff i could use with multicraft handles. The swiss grips are awesome but i dont know if i could grease em up like i would a hard handle.
Probably a stupid observation but might as well ask it here. Don't you think that a company with such caliber as PB Swiss could not have designed this tool without slop?
Maybe they designed it to have that slop.
Question: There's a bit of variation I've noticed. Two of my TXP blades are a much bluer color (the TXP20 and T10, T15, and T20) are all a more standard color. Likewise the offset TORX drivers (T20 and T30) have different colored tips. Is there any significance to this?
(in any case the coated tips are finished *much* nicer than those Wiha drivers I bought and disliked)
