No, almost everything is PC based. Like the above poster wrote, you can install a virtual machine on your MAC, install windows, then install the software.
Or you can just get a PC, after all, a serial port is VERY necessary for any decent setups.
What sort of cars are you working on? I use Mercedes-Benz WIS and BMW WIS software with a multiplexer (chinese) on my laptop, and scantool.net hardware with my GM software. A computer/laptop with a serial port is required for the BMW and MB multiplexer. No other real options for those two besides the multiplexer.
