I haven't had any problems yet, but I've heard they are difficult because everything must be mailed in. No distributors. With that said, I've warrantied A LOT of tools as of recent because I'm moving and while packing everything up, I decided to set aside my older, beat up tools and send them in. Mac and Snap On both emailed me prepaid postage to put on the boxes and ship them out. Matco couldn't offer that, but they did send a Fed Ex truck to the house to pick them up. All 3 replaced every tool I sent back with no questions asked. About 19 Snap On tools, 10 Mac, and 3 Matco. With more to come soon. I'm currently talking to SK about sending tools back. They will not cover the cost to ship to them, only back to me. Before they warrant anything though, they evaluate it to see if it needs replacement or repair. I'm also sending tools in to Apex (Crescent, Armstrong, Gearwrench) who said they will issue me prepaid postage. Proto/Blackhawk/Stanley told me to bring them to a distributor which I'm going to do tomorrow. So we'll see what happens. I figure its worth a shot. I've even emailed Channellock, Eklind, and Estwig about warranty. If they do replace it great, if not, I haven't gained or lost anything sooo why not.
