We had a coast to coast back in 70s. They had fishing gear, car and airplane models, bikes, etc. Was a pretty good store.
Those are seriously overbuilt ratchets. I think they could take some serious abuse and keep on trucking!Those were clunkers!

I'll probably leave as-is. I have never had much luck doing anything with polish. I tend to under or over-do it.If you get some fine polishing paste, you can take care of that. But, take care, a little can go a long way.
I like the box, too.
Can't say I remember seeing them in use before. My step-dad (contractor) said when he was younger he used them in security applications in a prison he did work in. However, I think security torx probably has replaced them commercially.Not much call for clutch head drivers these days. I found this one last month.

Correct… they were used in rv/trailer applications and I believe gm used them for a brief period of time.They also used to use the in RV applications, also John Deere used to use them on sheet metal back in the day.
That stuff is sweet and the inside label is really nice! Did you just find it or has it been a while?
