I’ve been through the prolonged permit process myself.
I too suggest taking down that picture, cropping out your name and address and reposting.

And your paying there wages, stay strong and best of luck. Few years ago pulling my permit and county building dept woman going thru blue permits saw one of two covered porches and said hold on. More $$$ and out the door I went. In credibly demeaning experience.

By contrast, here in rural SC our permit for our house took 15 minutes and cost $400. Most places I've lived have been a hassle.

I've done 4 permits since we moved here 7 years ago, a new detached garage and renovating existing garage into living space being the bigger ones. Walked into town office with plans and application, walked out with permission to procede. Permits were mailed the following week.
