Several years ago, I invested $100 into a Motive pressure bleeder, but have found the device to be of limited use since the universal adapter is cumbersome and vehicle specific adapters are expensive. So, I am thinking about selling the unit and investing in a brake bleeder tool that is more versatile for a variety of vehicles.

The Phoenix V12 system of "injection bleeding" sounds promising. Does anyone have any experience with this type of device?

Thanks!

I'd rather push the dirty stuff(mostly around the caliper/pistons) out of the caliper than back up through the ABS block.

I have a power bleeder myself, it's called "the wife".

I'd assume that you would use the vacuum function to flush all new fluid through the system first.

You can use the Phoenix to push fluid through the master cylinder and catch it at the caliper/wheel cylinder bleeder screw.
I have a Phoenix. I used on difficult to bleed slave cylinders. I'm not a fan of it for brakes, too slow. I think you would be better off getting your motive to work, or if you have compressed air, get a vacula type unit.

I have one but have not used it yet. I am however a believer in the push system, especially for a clutch. Before I got the phoenix i just made my own. just hook up some hose to an oil can and you are doing pretty much the same thing.
