Mitch, how are you measuring the 0-60mph, is it a GTech or a phone app? Very impressive picking up nearly a full second with just turning up the voltage.
It is from timed racing tickets at the drag strip. For example on that the same run that I was 0-60 in 2.82 seconds I ran the 1/8 mile in 7.03 seconds at 94 MPH
Mitch - awesome progress. Is there a rule of thumb for translating 1/8 mile runs into a 1/4 estimate? I loved the burnout vid. I was waiting for the top gun theme song to kick in
May I ask who (building supplier) built your building and if you had to start over with a new building what would you change? I love the stories and your wife must be a true blessing to be with-to put up with the things you have gone thru. I love the cars you have and are working on (love fast Fords). Thanks for the great thread!!!!!!!

Holy **** did I just get some awesome press coverage, but the video part of it included shots done in my garage.

Next, we decided to work on our 0-60 time and 1/4 mile time so we headed to the grand opening of the San Antonio Raceway. Once there we ran into a guy with a brand new Tesla P85D who was enjoying outrunning gas cars and we offered to race him. He felt that pitting his state of the art Tesla up against a homemade electric Mustang would be a cake walk. Boy was he wrong. He ran a very impressive 11.8 seconds.
However, we set a new personal best time at 10.24 seconds at 140mph. Our new 0-60 is....wait for it... 1.94 seconds. That means we are officially the fastest vintage street Mustang in the world and quicker than EVERY production super car in the world. Here is the race.
i think he means 0-60 mph.
not 60'
maybe?
re-read that, And i think your right dohh
