I thought long and hard on Everlast but I went with hypertherm. I just didn't think I could get any service from everlastLooking for any yays/nays on the Everlast brand of plasma cutt ers.
Thanks

You could have gotten the Hypertherm Powermax 65 083300 with 25' Machine torch and 25' Hand Torch for $2901 shipped... From Welder Source...
Got to plug it in and use it yesterday.
They said it would do an inch so I tried 4 1/4" plates. This thing is a very ***** machine. My first time using the plasma cutter. All I had was a number 10 welding helmet. That's got to go.
I'm glad to see you finally got it in. I wasn't lying when I said it was a beast was I? lol
After using mine for a few months I can safely say it's way more machine than most people need at home. If I (we) weren't planning on doing CNC at home it would have been a waste of money for me. Still every time I pick up the torch and plug the machine in I'm blown away by the quality. It's an amazing machine.
OP before I got the Hypertherm I had an Eastwood Versa Cut 60 and I was really happy with it. I read mixed reviews on it but I got a good one. They have a 3 year warranty too. I'd recommend that over Everlast personally. I sold it to a guy that runs a golf cart shop and told him if he needed warranty work on it to let me send it back. I haven't heard from him yet so it must still be running.
