Everlast TIG machines aren't to bad but the Everlast plasma cutters I would stay way from. I only buy Hypertherm when it comes to plasma cutting.

You could have gotten the Hypertherm Powermax 65 083300 with 25' Machine torch and 25' Hand Torch for $2901 shipped... From Welder Source...

Thats the one I got and the place I got it from. But I also got the consumable kit. $3096 delivered. But I did find the consumable kit cheaper elsewhere after I made the purchase.

Cutmaster 52 at $1325 is a nice deal.. It actually is a pretty good CNC rig if you know what you are doing with it.. Most people really don't know how to set them up correctly.. Victor's fault, not theirs..

Stay far away from a Everlast.. (IMO) Better options on China made stuff..
I would think a Razorweld 45 would be one I would look at first.

PS,
buy the copper plus electrodes for the Powermax 65. Worth the $$$ difference over the standard stuff.. It's something you can really see that works as advertised.

Got to plug it in and use it yesterday.

They said it would do an inch so I tried 4 1/4" plates. This thing is a very ***** machine. My first time using the plasma cutter. All I had was a number 10 welding helmet. That's got to go.

I've had a Hypertherm for 3 years...probably cut several hundred linear feet of 1/16" to 3/8"...still haven't changed the original consumables. You made a good choice. I had a Chinese machine before and went through consumables like crazy, with **** cut quality

I'm glad to see you finally got it in. I wasn't lying when I said it was a beast was I? lol

After using mine for a few months I can safely say it's way more machine than most people need at home. If I (we) weren't planning on doing CNC at home it would have been a waste of money for me. Still every time I pick up the torch and plug the machine in I'm blown away by the quality. It's an amazing machine.

OP before I got the Hypertherm I had an Eastwood Versa Cut 60 and I was really happy with it. I read mixed reviews on it but I got a good one. They have a 3 year warranty too. I'd recommend that over Everlast personally. I sold it to a guy that runs a golf cart shop and told him if he needed warranty work on it to let me send it back. I haven't heard from him yet so it must still be running.

It is absolutely amassing how serious a machine this is. It reminds me of what Made in USA was all about years ago.
