Can anyone recommend me a good plastic stick rivet gun? I've been having to pull a lot of inner fender liners and reinstall them lately. Just wondering if there are any out there that are good for a decent price......... I really don't want to spend 100 dollars on one from the Cornwell truck. Thanks

Just FYI...HF plastic rivets ****! Super brittle and just break. The gun itself is just like "most" on the market and money well spent unless you use it daily. Not super comfy....but doing 50 or less rivets....nbd.

yeah its definatly not going to be a daily user but if i can keep from bugging another tech once every 2 weeks and only be out a few bucks its something i think might be worth buying..... does the hf have a lifetime warrenty like most of there stuff, if not i might just get this one http://www.tooltopia.com/marson-48000.aspx, the design of the marson seems like it would be easier to work with.

Marson is good stuff....but that looks like a ****** access design...Do you have to flush with the work piece....So often that wouldn't work for stuff I've needed in the past.

HF is lifetime.

Yes the HF one is good. As noted the rivets aren't great but will get you buy if necessary and your shop doesn't supply them for the job.

Mind you I had an actual name brand one off a tool truck but someone else liked it more than I did so I bought the HF to see how bad it could be and I have been using it ever since.

Where are you guys getting your rivets if the HF rivets are junk?
Local nut and bolt vendor should have them. The place here hs all kinds of automotive fasteners too. Lady pulls. Small trailer around nd you walk in lie the tool truck nd buy what you need. She suppies all the body shops. Has zip ties drill bits **** connectors, you name it
