Plastic Tile Floor "walking"

I installed a grid-loc tile floor 6 months ago. The garage is approx 20x24.
Over that time the floor has gradually moved from the right side of the garage to the left side and moved closer to the back wall. So much so the the tiles are now buckling.
I left about 2" of free space for expansion on all sides but on the left side and back of the garage this has disappeared.
To allow space between our two cars I back in and park with the passenger side close to wall.
I think applying lock to the wheels when parking is causing the floor to walk.
Anyone have any ideas how to prevent the floor moving over the long term?
This is not simply an expansion problem.

I've never heard of that company so i can't unfortunately comment on your application. I have RaceDeck FreeFlow tiles and haven't ever had that issue. My flooring has never moved and i bring a car in and out everyday multiple times. Do you have anything on the floor beyond cars? It looks like from your pictures everything is mounted onto the walls.

Garage Flooring Inc calls their tile Grid Lock. The tile moving is not a function of the quality of the tile, but a combination of factors that happen from time to time. Vehicle... Your Concrete... Your Install....

They are a competitor, but they deserve a chance to fix the issue. I would give them a call and ask them if they have an underlayment that might fix the issue.

If they can't help, send me a PM. There are several options here and I can get you through it -- but it would not be fair for me to do it here. AGAIN. PLEASE give them a call first.

I've heard of this issue with some tile installs. In the past some manufacturers have suggested putting some strips of rug grippers around the perimeter to arrest this kind of motion.

Do you have any toolboxes, workbenches, or shelving sitting on the tile? From your pictures, it looks like all of your stuff is wall mounted while dubber (and I) have toolboxes and workbenches on top of our floors keeping them in place.

This is absolutely 100% true. some carpet keepers under the first couple rows make all the difference in the world. Again, every installation has its own idiosyncrasies and it is important to give the folks where you purchased the product a chance to fix it
