Plastic Tile Floor "walking"
I installed a grid-loc tile floor 6 months ago. The garage is approx 20x24.
Over that time the floor has gradually moved from the right side of the garage to the left side and moved closer to the back wall. So much so the the tiles are now buckling.
I left about 2" of free space for expansion on all sides but on the left side and back of the garage this has disappeared.
To allow space between our two cars I back in and park with the passenger side close to wall.
I think applying lock to the wheels when parking is causing the floor to walk.
Anyone have any ideas how to prevent the floor moving over the long term?
This is not simply an expansion problem.
TIA
