Platform attachment for ladder

Is there an attachment for this ladder to make it a platform. I'm taping drywall and it's a pain using the ladder as an A-frame.

looks similar to the gorilla ladder I have, it came with a bracket to lock the lower legs in place so you can use the top section as one "A" frame and the bottom legs as a second. I also have a little giant that the lower legs can lock into themselves using the locking pin.

then just use some 2X10's or whatever you have to make a plank. they do make aluminum planks but they are pricey.

I've got some leftover 3/4" plywood. Thinking 2 layers screwed to one another might do the job.

That's a knockoff of LittleGiant's design.
Remove the legs, place them together and lock them together with with the swivel locks.
Then open it up into an A-frame.

Now you have two frames to put a plank between to stand on.
This is an intended use for this design.

You'd be better off using the plywood with some 2 x 3's in between at the edges. Otherwise it will bow. I doubt it would ever break but who wants to stand on a springboard?

Sturdy ladders make a nice platform ladder. I have a 6 and a 10'. When I need I use the adjustable Sturdy plank to run between them. The platform gives my helpers the piece of mind that they are safe and can concentrate on what they are supposed to be doing.

Werner makes an extendable platform but i need something a little smaller. Maybe 4-8'.

Anyone know of anything?
