I wanted a way to get pliers up and out of the drawer and hanging where they are easy to see and access. I found these wire racks at Lowes that are intended for pegboard, drilled two holes in the side of a metal storage cabinet to hang them. Bent the inside ends of the hanger wire as shown since the cabinet metal is thinner than pegboard. For the seldom used long nose hose pliers I wrapped the jaws with rubber bands to keep the jaws closed so they can hang down from the wire bracket. The place I hung these pliers is also accessible from the entry door into the house so If I'm working in the house I can grab pliers from the step without stepping down onto the garage floor. I like it!

This is the style I'm going to to copy, when ready for it. Except, with solid sheet metal sides to make it easy, to drop them in place.

^^That knipex stand looks a very efficient way of storing pliers, especially with various size handles and heads. Simple and clever. I want to do something like that as like many members I have about 20 pairs & that will grow into the future.

Here is a thread I did a while back on a pliers rack I made. I’ve been real happy with it. Made a few more for friends.

I took a piece of Unistrut and had one side cut off. Screwed it to the face of my bench and it holds all my Channellock mini pliers.
