Really nice set and that flex driver is rare but out of my price range Shut your face, you got a smoking dealReally nice set and that flex driver is rare but out of my price range
On a side note, I believe that is from the pieces drives posted a few pages back from the estate. I believe I also saw the puller that he showed us pictures of listed on the bay !
On another note, what do you guys think of this if I were paint the Big Box myself? I used a dark brown hammered finish paint on a desk I built out of angle iron and it cmae out outstanding.

$112 plus shipping I believe.
Thanks to Jim, a new ToolArchives member and son of a former Plomb employee, we can confirm that the "grind-off" tools We so often find are the result of internal employee sales. They reportedly sold tools to employees very cheap but with no warranty. The grind prevented warranty action and tool resale for profit.

Words can't describe my envy.......Just thought I'd show what was probably one of the best deals I've found collecting Plomb. Found this ToolMobile in 2015 on CL for $100. It was empty, but now I have it loaded with part of my Plomb collection.

Oh manSo jelous of you right now with that sweet score !
I couldn't believe it when I saw it listed. Spoke to the guy, older guy. He says he had it about 35 years. I drove 40 miles at 830pm in the rain to get it.
I was overflowing my other Plomb chests, so this was perfect to house some of it. But I'm always on the hunt for the others chests I don't have.
I would have driven much farther for a box like thatOk, I'm in. My first Plvmb LA. It is also my only. #5466 and it had an older looking Snap On extension on it. Couldn't leave it at the flea for $3.00.

I did some digging earlier. Any box currently listed and worth mentioning is posted HERE:

scroll down to "box" - arranged smallest to largest. four at the bottom might fall within your parameters. hope that helps some.

That eBay set looks like it spent some time under water. I picked this one up at an estate sale yesterday and it cleaned up pretty well.
