We are all waiting to hear who won the small but expensive pebble flex handle. At least it stayed under $100.00.

The spirit is the hunt and the stories. If you do decide to sell let me know.I was going to bid 150, but not worth it to me... i think i should sell all my plomb and pocket the money... seeing how i will never get all the pieces...
looking for a pebble 4766 or any 47xx pebble hinged handle

That would be me. The bid would have to have gone very high to outbid me.

I'm so glad you got it! couldn't have a better home!
Merry Christmas to you. What is the item in the 3rd picture to left of the book and above the 1/4" driver.ALL: I need to ORGANIZE my flat file drawer of Plvmb better, but thought for Christmas I'd post an AS IS shot of some of my Plvmb. I have to get another drawer set up for the older Plvmb and the Proto LA and i'll show that later. if you'd like a close up or more pics just ask and i'll try to get some posted ASAP.
as some of you know the 1 inch Plvmb ratchet (BIG BERTHA) is 24 inches long and it fits nicely into my 48 inch wide Hamilton flat file drawer and it makes everything else look pretty small.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all my PLVMB friends!!
Don't mind at all. It's a cool piece none the less. Thanks for sharing.Olson: good eye!! yep i've got a few interesting tools that I also put in this drawer with my Plvmb JUST BECAUSE I thought they were cool
this one has no name on it and it is some sort of scraper you can put in your palm. I hope the Plvmb guys on the thread don't mind me posting up a few pics and I'll remove this post if some of the regulars ask me to.
since you asked here's a couple pictures. also before you or anybody ask the tool to the left of it with the aluminum and red handle I think is a Miller's Falls.

That is cool. I have to ask. Is that 700 unique pieces or 700 with dupes?I add to my Plomb collection pretty much every weekend, which explains how I have some 700+ pieces now, but I only post the more unusual stuff normally. This is one of the the things I picked up, a pair of "Pick Up Pliers" from about 1928-29.

Looking for the following Plomb Pebbles Wrenches 3061, 3070,
That's cool. Do you have any original Big Bertha's?There are about 150 dupes, mostly sockets. Some dupes are variations of the same number, like pebble, rope band, etc.

Drive tool or war club? The socket and ratchet combo weighs about 27-28 lbs iirc.
That's cool. Do you have any the early 7/8" "Z" Series Big Bertha's? I have only seen a few but always looking to drool over some.I'll have to dig it out, but I have a '41 dated 1" drive ratchet and a few 1" drive sockets, including a 5812 3½" socket. The socket and ratchet combo weighs about 27-28 lbs iirc.
I thought maybe you needed some icebreakers. To get down to the foot of snow you need to shovel!...always looking to drool over some.

Mostly ice and about 4" of snow is all. They were talking up to 16" for a while.I thought maybe you needed some icebreakers. To get down to the foot of snow you need to shovel!
I picked up a set years ago for dirt cheap but they are different then ones I have seen. Mine do not include the ball dedents or sizes. Each just has a number such as 5 or 7. I can grab some pics but has anyone seen anything like that before and could shed some light.I wish! I've seen a couple, but stupid money was the price. But I'm always looking for anything weird and unusual I don't have.

Any more pictures of the metric wrench ? That is so rare! I found a set of metric proto la doe’s in the roll earlier this year and those where fairly rare but this blows the rarity out of the water. I am thinking this may be the only plvmb marked metric tool on this thread ?

It is definitely Wright Aeronautical. I have the same one but made by Bonney.Thats prob right Smoke,
Picked up this great old PLOMB roller from my deceased neighbor. The bottom lift door is a bit janky but the drawers and rollers work as new, it’s a great piece.
Thats prob right Smoke, I like it, either way, contract tools always interest me!
