As far as I know, any metric wrench that is PL∇MB marked is also PR∇T∇ marked.

Normally would have passed, but knew it was hard to find. Threw it in with a few Proto and Snap-on pieces I wanted and bought it as a lot. I'm into it about the $10 I'm asking, just passing it on to someone who collects Plomb since I don't. Seller was being assisted by a flea market seller in the family, so they were not asking give-away prices.
I am in the same boat. I looked for over a year and just found one this spring. Hit me up if you want to sell them larger ignition pliers.

Would do it Roy, except that I collect those mini ignition pliers. Those are the only two Plomb ones I have ever seen or had a chance to buy. I have about 15 or 20 different ones, Plomb, Proto, Snap-on, Herbrand, Master Quality, Kal, Wards, etc. I buy every unique one I can find. Same with 4" adjustables.

I'll ebay the breaker/speed wrench if nobody wants it here. They sell well there.
Understood. Thanks for posting pics of them.

Picked up this #1455 Plomb LA body dolly today at an estate sale for $4. Anything Plomb is pretty rare in my part of the country so I was happy to find it.

Nice work and an LA on top of it. I second the area thing. Plomb is pretty scare minus 1/2" sockets from the 40s.

Does anyone know if the Plvmb, catalogs showed a Tommy bar coming with the 1/2" drive pebble breakers?

I picked up a "tommy bar" today and it fits the 1/2" pebble nicely, (would have fit the round handle except there is a "divot" in the bore preventing? :dunno:

If so any distinguishing marks?

Its 10" long:

I'm putting it in with the Plvmb stuff regardless, but Inquiring minds...

They did come with a "pin handle" as what Plomb called it. A typical Plomb pin handle is unmarked but has a 2 small protrusion 180 degrees apart from on another. I think this was done by a punching die.

Just thought of something; I'm going to keep this tool. It will go into my car as a lug nut wrench. Use it as a breaker bar, and then spin off the nuts. For $10, it's way cheaper than the Proto or Plomb breaker bar that's in there now, and has the added speed wrench feature to it!

If I see more of them, I'll buy one for each vehicle.

Dang, I was about To take you up on that! (just saw the post) I'm STILL looking for one!

This one is smooth (and already has a slight bend to it...)

Mine is missing the selector lever "button" (not sure what to call it) but otherwise in great shape. Like 3bay's this one has a 1939 date code. Wondering if 3bay ever found a lug for his and if so where?

I never realized it but that piece isn’t on my virtually unused ‘39 ratchet either. I guess I’ll have to be on the lookout for one.

Still on the lookout for correct Plomb plugs. I hope to find them at a flea market some day. AKA cheap!

I wonder if losing the little stop buttons had something to do with the transition to no button.

Found this neat Plomb US140 wrench at a yard sale. Not much info on it other than it is an aircraft wrench

Well that is cool. I have one DOE with just a plain US mark not part number.

Here are my Plomb finds at the Tahoe flea yesterday. The spud wrench was one I just couldn’t pass up. The Pebble ratchet is missing the selector so is for parts only.

I didn’t buy this 1383 soft-face hammer. Just $12, but the plastic faces are really rough. Looks like original handle. Maybe another time.
But this is the very thing that set off the Plumb lawsuit, isn’t it?

Very cool. It maybe. I am unsure what the context of Plumb's trademark was if included just hammers or more broad in tools. I assume they would be filed under the same class of good.

The original lawsuit, the contempt filing, and Plomb's appeal (which repeats the terms of the suit...) all use the same language in terms of characterizing the tools, and it's fairly generic: "files, hammers, and other tools." The crux of the issue wasn't one specific tool, but the name. ...so long as the defendant uses the word "Plomb" as a trade-mark or otherwise and whether in its corporate title or otherwise and so long as the plaintiff uses the word "Plumb" as a trade-mark."

Another pair for the Plomb Wall. A pair of Kopr spuds. 17 out of 19 spuds found only 2 remain. Also included a group shot.IMG_20190823_174257597.jpgIMG_20190823_174302487.jpgIMG_20190823_174421147.jpeg

Here's the latest additions to my collection. The darker 4749 was all gummed up inside, the pawls wouldn't engage the gear, I replaced the springs from a later model Proto, working perfectly now. The lighter-colored 4749 is cad plated. The N89 is an early '20's manifold wrench. The hammer is a 1421 dinging hammer.
