Are both wrenches 11/16" but have two different part numbers?Picked up this uncommon weirdo off the reject pile. Anyone notice anything amiss? Never plated or finished so probably plucked off the line.
Nope, both are the same 1234-which is 1-1/16 but the one I just bought is a factory second. The box end was never broached and was never finished being plated and finished metal work. Are both wrenches 11/16" but have two different part numbers?

I would probably jump on that at $45! Not a common box. Looks like it could be cleaned up well
Ok. I'll pick grab itI would probably jump on that at $45! Not a common box. Looks like it could be cleaned up well
Thats a great price for that box. Did you grab it?Ok. I'll pick grab it
Did you just pick these up and do they still have their contents?
Oh wow. Those look like they are in really great shape. That dual marked one is definitely uncommon! Looks to have survived fairly well because you wrapped them up years agoJust the boxes. They were wrapped in mylar blueprint drawings. These and many other boxes and tools stored away over 45 years ago. My grandson says there are over 400 drawers in the dozens of tool boxes, mostly full of Snap~on tools. I saved them away when I went overseas in the 70s, had been my Father's and Grandfather's.
Manufactured to make this; no need finish both ends!Picked up this uncommon weirdo off the reject pile. Anyone notice anything amiss? Never plated or finished so probably plucked off the line.

Nice. Definately post that on snapon thread
A lot of good stuff on that shelf! Are the naf sets behind lock and key ?
Well, theatergoers tend not to want to listen to old folks, it breaks the spell. In the *** drive in theme - San Jose CA had a drive-in that did nothing but X rated for several decades before it was finally torn down Huge tall fences of corrugated sheets, (probably war surplus roofing) attempted to keep it visually blocked. It had an older trailer park just across the street. You just know the sound still was audible.

Dang that’s clean! Nice find Matt! Finding one with all its original accessories is very uncommon
Great find! and its LA to boot! Smoke.. I see you licking your chops over there! hahaha I have a couple of these. One is a Proto version, looks Identical that my grandfather bought new in the late 40s when he opened his Auto motive store. They used it out back in the shop part where they changed tires, put on exhaust, and other automotive work. that thing has great patina also.
