I'll wait for the feeding frenzy to die down. bet the prices have already jumped!

On my Coleman group an inexpensive "One burner cookbook", was posted and praised, and there was a fast run on them. Suddenly the prices wern't so good, so every one stoped. Later the prics came back down...

Unless they are real old, or nickle plated, stay away from the green 2 mantle lanterns and all the "4XX" series Green 2 and 3 burner stoves. (425, 426, 413..)

Single mantle lanterns for a good price are good sellers even if only for parts. That's true of most all brands, except Asian made. Mostly say away from Propane stuff. The green stuff I mentioned above and the profane stuff is a glut on the market.

One exception for lanterns, including profane; - any non-Clear globe that is Coleman marked are $$ in the bank if you can get them cheap. Generally amber, red ($$$) or the "Frosted" globes. (some are solid some are called "picket fence" for the vertical frosted panels.

Another addition to the S.R. Socket box arrived Thursday. It has kind of a Plomb look about it.

All- I started an official SR tools thread. I just think the key to solving their mystery may be had through a central place we can post them. Feel free to post your tools both on that thread as well as this one!

We've had an [S.R.] thread since 2016. Several pages long, last post by Don last August. Lots of tools, theories, and discussions. Not to squash a new thread. Just sayin. It's going to have a lot of redundancy. It started out, like many of them do, as a query, but it is the de facto 'Show me your...' thread for [S.R.]

Um, we've had an S.R. thread since 2016.

Dang, I forgot about that. I don’t have admin powers to delete mine

Oh, I didn't think it was an 'Oops', Don. You've posted your [S.R.] pretty regularly over there, and the Plomb mfging has been noted forever. I thought there was some characteristic of this socket that struck you as even more Plombly than usual and that's why you posted it here.

Oops! I’ll post it over there. It doesn’t seem to appear in the Sticky, unless I missed it.

Your ok. My post wasn’t calling you out. I was more meaning we should spread the love and have double posts to increase visibility because it’s a cool mystery😉

Funny how Rags got all your [S.R.], Smoke. Mine too! That sneaky mofo. HAHA. Just kidding. Fair trade. And as I am sure you know, he's a generous dude.
Yeah he’s been a vacuum for my sr socket’s in the past 😂. But yes super generous. We send trade packages back and forth that are surprises without the other person usually knowing what’s in them.

What's the deal with the plomb screwdriver keychains? They're around $50-60 on the bay. Is this the going rate?
That’s about their usual rate. I have seen them go higher or lower than that dependent on what is stamped/advertised on the back side

uhhhh no. just trying to imagine explaining it to some new expert who just read up on the Plomb /Plumb thing and assume they already know what you're trying to describe...."Oh you mean Plumb, that's a different company"

My mind immediately went there. Yet another company to describe the small differences that yet are so big 😂

Here is i think the same set I've had for awhile. The bits can be changed and are held in with a small set screw
