Plumbing leaks in basement

I have a basement garage in a house built in the 90's. It was renovated in innthe 06-08 time frame so there is a mix of pvc, copper, and pex. Starting a few years back I've had several issues with pinholes developing in the pex lines on my hot water side.

I came back from vacation to the 7th leak in 4 years, now I'm thinking this is no longer a random occurrence. I'm aware there was a class action suit against a supplier, but I don't think thst covers the stuff I have

Anyone have any ideas on what may cause this outside of the poor quality?

I read through that before posting, that brand isn't what I have and critters aren't my issue thankfully

I've considered static build up, pressure reg failure, and thermal/uv degradation. Didn't really see that addressed in there.

The copper oxidation is something I thought about, since there is a build-up in the lines I've replaced, at the time I attributed it to some construction onnthe waterline in my neighborhood
