The MSRP on the Larry is $9.99. Any of these places that charge $12 for them are just greedy. Like I said, we sell them for $8.75.
We also sell the Nebo Redline SE light, I have one and my son has one for Boy Scout campouts. The other scouts all want one.

Their Highbeam 12v socket lights have sold well for us as well.

ever opened a larry up?
mine broke because i used it so much (fixed it btw, the wire came unsoldered from the top, after resoldering it, it took just a few seconds to snap it back together), the way it was built was a little iffy (earlier version i presume, the newer ones have different button assembies on top). the positive wire for the button is soldered to a tab and the wire is run in between the swivel and the top, and the button rubber is cut out to allow it to pass through, kinda jinky. definitely not water tight like the commercial on youtube suggests, it's just a simple circuit board, a wire, a piece of metal and some plastic pieces snapped together.
very simple design and manufacturing process, probably costs them less than 2 dollars to make if mass produced. they could probably sell it for 5 dollars and still make profit.
if you wanna talk about ripoff, buy any 5-8 led light for more than 3 dollars at a gas station counter, and you are looking at getting ripped off majorly because those cost far less than a dollar to make, a thin alunimum tube, a tiny round board, and a screw cap, and a button , done.
unless the flashlight has a super high power LED and multiple functions for brightness, and flashing, then you should never pay more than 20 dollars for a medium end light.
