I have a 28x32x14 pole building and I'm looking at insulation options. Mainly looking at hanging R19 rolls like this thread: https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=169738
I have three questions about this method.
1. Can I use 4 15" rolls instead of one wide roll? Trying to work with what's available at the local stores instead of ordering.
2. The standard rolls are 39' long so for 14' walls I'll have leftovers on each roll. Can I combine those leftovers (zipties, tape, etc) together somehow so that I don't waste 1/3 of each roll?
3. Will the rolls stay up long term or will they rip and fall down to the bottom of the wall? Have there been any longer term reports on this method?
