I've been telling the wife we should. Now is as good time as any to build bigger/better.
I was playing around with Menards online software today designing a building 30 by 48.
Anyways I got to the section on insulation which leads me to my questions:
Option one is 2" insulation/condensation blanket - means for use in buildings not heated year round.
Does anyone have any idea what this is?
Option two is 6" bat insulation - for buildings heated year round.
Well I am not heating year round nor will I be cooling year round, so my thought is to Tyvek it, then put up this insulation/condensation blanket.
Why wouldn't that work?
The only reason I would Tyvek is to cut down on the wind leakage.
The ceiling I am still torn between bats or blown in.
My old shop has blown in and it is full of mice tunnels!
