I buy most of my tools from a variety of ebay dealers, and sometimes from other etailers- in short, who ever has the best price. I rarely buy from Amazon, as I can usually find a better price if I dig around long enough.

Same with Me..
I noticed that besides eBay, HJE, ZORO, Cripes, and other net retailers, the list lacks a SnapOn truck!!

I assume this thread is intended to target the dime store tool lines?
OP; if so, why not clarify.

Mixture for me, Amazon, Ebay, Classifieds here and my Snap On driver.
Did you see the new poll I posted? Also I didn't include mixture as excel didn't like the last poll I did with multiple answer. If I could see who you are that would be different but since you guys are just numbers on a poll I can't have multiple choice.

You do not have to vote again, unless you want to, but please tell me if you do, I was going to leave the expensive professional/ industrial tools out but I guess I will include them

I didn't vote on the first listing; as it lacked My most common vendors.

Thanks for expanding the list. I voted for eBay, as it is My most used site.

After people added their retailers to the list, I'm trying out google forms, which should allow me to have a fill in the blank slot.

I'm just gonna let people add to the google sheets, so I can create a better poll which will allow you guys to also put in where you shop, then I can create a new better survey on Google forms. Thus, it will reflect more on the places that you have shopped at that maybe I haven't heard of before like I never heard of Zoro or Cripes before today.

I think polls like this are a very regional thing. In the last 4 years i bought tools from 5 industrial supply stores, 4 parts stores, 3 hardware stores, 4 box stores, 3 equipment dealerships, 2 welding supply places, 2 tool trucks and 1 tool store. plus Sears Canada which is no longer in business.

That's 25 different local brick and mortar stores.

I just want the one where you've shopped the most if it has a name add it to the list.

Please test out this form, i want to see if you have and don't have a google account if it still records your data. Don't worry about email address it just makes it easier to sort out when making charts, I won't use it for any malicious reasons, I already have a spam email for all the scammers and junk mail.

If you are like me, and do not wish to give your email to untrusted entities, you can use (anythignyoutype)@mailinator.com to create an on the fly email address. then go to the mailinator website, and check mail at (whatever it was that you typed). some things will filter it out, and I apparently was not counted on this poll. I'd suggest the pollster create a throwaway gmail or whatever account to be used for responding. Though I'm not unclear why Id want to give up my valuable marketing data for free I damn sure will not provide my confirmed email address with it
