My neighbor is an old marine, retired from Johnson controls as a construction manager. Point is, he’s been in construction for decades and decades on civilian and military jobs.
He swears there is a polyethylene pipe fitting that allows the line to slide in. Like a shark bite. He strongly recommends this instead of a normal barbed tee or a Ford/pack joint.
I can’t find this fitting. It’s possible he’s misunderstanding the water line project. But I don’t think so.
He says these fittings are 100% reliable and don’t restrict the line in the way a barbed tee would.
Does anyone have any idea what this fitting might be called?
Thanks
