At the day job, we finish and paint the drywall in the garages. There is exposed 2x materials at the garage door opening to support the tracks. I have the punchout guy fill all of the nail holes, bug holes, etc so the wood paints out nice.
As soon as the paint hits the framing lumber, all the defects really pop out!
