I pulled the trigger. Decided to have my garage tiled. I know. This is a diy kind of forum and guys are finding awesome tile for a buck or two a foot or a smoking deal on install. That isn't my luck or experience. It is gonna cost me. My garage is 30x40 and after lurking and reading many diy posts from Jack, slick, t4 and many others on their tile installs, I knew that porcelain was the product for me. I had the house bathrooms redone last summer and was thoroughly impressed with my installers eye for detail and work ethic. Anything I could have saved in labor, I decided to spend on quality. I have tiled a floor before. Those that look at it say it looks nice. I did a good job on layout and spacing. Where my kitchen floor lacks is in lippage or level edges. That and a 150 square foot kitchen and laundry room is way different than my 1200 sq ft garage. I'll post pics of the space soon and let you know more. The project won't be getting started until September or October, but I'll post pics along the way as if it were my diy project, just with fewer aches.
